Two Gates

Here is the part where the one road turns to two gates. There is only one part operational. My brother's gate leads to an area that was part of an old road. The neighbors, which sold us the property, had some foundation problems and the contractors that fixed it put all the chunks of concrete into big piles near his gate. So, a car driving up there is impossible at this time! He also needs to have the bridge area fixed as it is eroding and unsafe to drive over at this point. I do believe his driveway to his land is much more unique and peaceful. Every spot has trees covering his drive. It reminds me of photographs of old country roads and driveways. Until he gets his side fixed, we drive up my side. I still have a nice driveway and it still provides me some privacy to the area in the back. There is a low water crossing on my side, which is cool to drive across when there is a stream going by. Also, they put some pea gravel on my side of the road so it is driveable. It will need some work in the future. Until then, we plan to put some crushed concrete on the first part of the driveway to make it more stable and keep the ground from getting undriveable when it is wet.
