Buying Land...

Well, we wanted to look for land to purchase to build a house. Our current life situation wasn't working out so well and we wanted to take care of our mother. Our priorities changed and our new dream was just starting. We first started by talking about our idea and then talked to a few family members. It was discussed that many moons ago my brother and I had talked about owning adjoining property and have a "family" type of area. I suppose you could call it a homestead? A Commune? A...well, whatever you call it. A bunch of family members could hang out in one area. It's nice to not have family scattered around the area when they can be within walking distance of visiting another relative. So...on to the land.

We looked a the area and pricing. It was an easy choice considering the price, acreage amounts and location. We found 5 acres that were split in half with an driveway shared by both lots. There was a gate between properties. The land seemed to scream "buy me!" and we immediately started looking into it.
