Low Water Crossing...

As you cross into the second gate, you are greated by a water crossing about 150 feet away. This is the fence by the neighbor that holds part of the stream. It goes about 20 feet through their property and then back to mine. However, the railroad ties (sp?) have fallen over and need to be picked back up and the fence lifted back up. Actually, the fence probably needs to be replaced there as the low water crossing will be rebuilt when the entire road gets done. One road company gave a bid and shared that they would put in anywhere from 2-3 culverts in that spot and allow the water to flow more freely in case of a big rain. If there was a big rain, it would go through the pipes instead of run over the crossing and either wash it away or cause driving issues. Heck, "Sorry boss...can't get to work today, low water crossing." (boss, if you see this...i'm just kidding!)
