My First Design, part 3

So, where would mom live? She would have her little own living quarters. She would be within walking distance to the front door or the back door. The area would be covered porch so she wouldn't have to worry about rain, hail or too much sunshine.

She would share the big kitchen, dining room and living room with the main house.

Only issue with this design, is when it is freezing cold outside, or a heat wave and her having to walk to the house in those conditions. I may have to rethink this design...
