I like several aspects of this home. I would move the garage back and turn it into the casita. I would put a terrace/courtyard between them with some outdoor seating and fragrant flowers. I would attach the screen porch with another deck that would connect to the casita. Since I don't have an upstairs or basement, the stairs section of the floorplan are not necessary. That could be the computer and craft room. Back to the screened porch... I found that I really do like outdoor living spaces. I know the cats would love it. They would have the outside experience with noises, smells and visual stimulation with safety from predators and no chance of escaping and getting lost.
