we are trying to get stuff done. Trying to get ready to close. Last minute plumbing, flooring, painting, hvac, electrical, trim...and finally to the punch out. Hopefully the first part of September we will be done and ready to move in.
We are trying to nail down the landscaping and look into getting a water softener. We are going to do just "hardscaping" and not put in any plants or grass. We can plant the plants/flowers, etc. when it cools down. Right now they will just die due to not watering them and it not raining. As far as the water goes, the water is really hard and we don't want to ruin our new water lines, etc.
It has been a lot of work but it is wonderful to see it all coming together.
The casita is having the rough electrical being done now. Then, we should be ready for the spray foam insulation. Just need them to be ready for us! I think it is about 2 weeks out for them.
