Last stage of shed soil work...

DSCN4631, originally uploaded by cedarcreektx.

We went out to the property today to get the front of the shed a little more level and throw out more grass seed. As you can see, there is a lot of Annual Rye grass right now. It almost makes everything else look colorless. We should, hopefully, have some grass on the front side in a month or so. We are expecting 20-30% of rain on various days this week, so maybe it will add moisture. It has been raining off and on, so the ground is already somewhat moist. Next project will start to include putting all of the already cut firewood in a specified place. After that, once I get a chain saw, is to work on getting the huge pile of wood cut up into firewood. The remainder small branches will either be for a bonfire or for someone to haul off. Maybe I can rent a chipper shredder or pay someone to do that instead.
